Grow Your Vision
Intellectulaw, The Law Offices of P.B. Tufariello, P.C. was founded by Panagiota Betty Tufariello in January of 2003, after leaving a firm in Garden City, New York in search of a more balanced approach to the law and life.
Since its inception, Intellectulaw has served clients of all sizes and budgets with the same goals: protecting intellectual property, clarifying business risk, preserving enterprise value, and providing judgment companies can trust.

Our Mission
At Intellectulaw, our mission is to provide strategic intellectual property and business counsel to companies that value what they build. We serve clients who understand that patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, brands, technology, contracts, and business relationships are not merely legal matters. They are assets that create leverage, protect market position, support growth, and drive enterprise value.
Intellectulaw brings together legal experience, technical understanding, scientific and engineering knowledge, and decades of intellectual property prosecution, litigation, licensing, enforcement, and business-related legal judgment. With a team that includes registered patent counsel and attorneys with scientific and engineering backgrounds, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and advanced technical training, we are positioned to understand not only the law, but also the innovation, products, systems, and business realities behind the legal issues.
Our clients want more than lawyers who complete tasks. They want trusted advisors who understand their business, protect their interests, speak candidly, and help them make informed decisions. Our approach begins with understanding the client: the business, the goals, the marketplace, the risks, the obstacles, and the value the client is trying to preserve or create. From there, we develop legal strategies that are practical, protective, and aligned with the client’s broader business objectives.
We work best with clients who respect experienced legal judgment, value clear communication, and understand that sophisticated legal counsel is an investment in the company’s future. Whether a company has in-house general counsel or relies on us to provide that level of strategic guidance, our role is to clarify risk, strengthen leverage, protect intellectual property, and help preserve the value of what the client has built.
We care deeply about our clients’ success. We protect what gives their businesses an edge. We counsel honestly. We advocate fiercely when necessary. And we measure our success by the value we help our clients protect, preserve, and advance.
